The Protective shield

Numbers 24:1-3
Now when Balaam saw that it pleased the Lord to bless Israel, he did not go as at other times, to seek to use sorcery, but he set his face toward the wilderness. And Balaam raised his eyes, and saw Israel encamped according to their tribes; and the Spirit of God came upon him.

Every time Balaam made an attempt to curse the children of Israel, all he saw was the blessing of God expressed as favor round about them like a protective shield. That means, the favor of God is the shield for your life which protects you from the scourge of tongues (see Psalm 5:12). Favour is the attractiveness of God expressed on a person, it changes public perception of you instantly. When perception changes, people respond to you differently. The favour of God overrides every real or perceived stigma attached to your name, propelling it with divine influence into the hearts of strategic people connected to your destiny.
Beloved, stop underestimating the favour of God. The best of human strength cannot match one moment of God’s favour. However, you can only experience the favor of God to the level which you believe in it. There are different levels of God’s favor; the kind of favour you receive when you are being down-dressed by a supervisor at your place of work, only to be vindicated by your manager is not the same as the favour that gives you a promotion in your absence at your company’s board meeting. You must grow in the favour of God to experience the latter, by walking in the consciousness of the favour of God encoded in the blessing that you carry.
Declare with me, the favor of God is the protective shield over my life, protecting me from the evil devices of the wicked. The favor of God settles upon my name like the early morning dew. Wherever my name is mentioned it will be for good. Even in my absence, profitable decisions are being made in my favor. I move from the realms of enjoying low levels of favor to enjoying favors that will cause men to be awestruck.

Prayer: I repent from disdaining the favour of God. I deliberately walk in the consciousness of the fact that the favor of God is lifting up a banner for me against any tongue that may rise up against you in judgement.
Meditate on: Psalm 5:12
