Your horizon has shifted

Genesis 48:20 (NLT)

So Jacob blessed the boys that day with this blessing: “The people of Israel will use your names when they give a blessing. They will say, ‘May God make you as prosperous as Ephraim and Manasseh.'” In this way, Jacob put Ephraim ahead of Manasseh.

Jacob brought a new horizon to bear on his grandsons. J He reversed the natural order over them. By birth, Manasseh was the first son of Joseph. Naturally, Manasseh takes precedence over Ephraim, but by the force of the Blessing, Jacob changed the natural order concerning them. The horizon of Manasseh and Ephraim changed from the moment those words of the blessing were spoken over them. Their perspectives were altered and ultimately their lives’ experiences. The Blessing pronounced in faith by fathers are creative tools. They cause fresh possibilities to emerge. Years later, something interesting happened. Moses, functioning in the office of the Prophet of God, spoke over the tribes of Israel. The words of the Blessing stretched Israel’s horizon beyond what Jacob pronounced over his sons. For instance, the constraining and damnatory words spoken over Reuben was mitigated. The words of the Prophets of God are creative forces for stretching your horizon. Their words, when believed has the capacity to alter the range of your perspectives and your life experiences. I decree that from today, you have crossed the threshold of the natural order into the supernatural. You will become the model and reference for supernatural growth. Your testimony will be like a root that springs out of the dry ground. You have produced results that defy the logic of your environment. You have become the new benchmark.

PRAYER: Today, the borders of my resource base has enlarged. I will manage multitudes, nurturing them daily with words of righteousness, in Jesus name.

PONDER ON: Ephesians 2:4-7
