Supernatural speed

Pastor Ose Imiemohon

Text Scriptures: 1 Kings 18:41-46 KJV

“And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain. [42] So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees, [43] And said to his servant, Go up now, look toward the sea. And he went up, and looked, and said, There is nothing. And he said, Go again seven times. [44] And it came to pass at the seventh time, that he said, Behold, there ariseth a little cloud out of the sea, like a man’s hand. And he said, Go up, say unto Ahab, Prepare thy chariot , and get thee down, that the rain stop thee not. [45] And it came to pass in the mean while, that the heaven was black with clouds and wind, and there was a great rain. And Ahab rode, and went to Jezreel. [46] And the hand of the Lord was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.”

Pastor Ose began this vital teaching with this stunning statement “In life you either live as a mere man or a new creation man”. John 3:8 tells us that the life of a new creation man is like a wind. It is unpredictable, and an unstoppable force.

Speed is not automatic. Before speed, momentum must be gathered. Same is true for both the spiritual and physical realms of life. In our text scripture, we see a man on foot – prophet Elijah out ran  the chariots of Ahab, the king of Samaria. This is not fictitious. It is supernatural speed powered by the hand of the Lord upon Elijah. In today’s context, your supernatural speed could be in your business, career, ministry etc.

In this message, Pastor considered two important lessons from Elijah before his experience of supernatural speed. They are:

  1. Force of faith
  2. Faith is the law of the new testament (see Romans 3:27). Stated differently, faith must be engaged before any change can be experienced for a believer. On the other hand, prayer generates the power that makes your confession productive. See James 5:17.

As you listen to this vital teaching, we guarantee you will learn more about:

  1. How to gather momentum for speed
  2. God’s master plan to give you the land where in you are a stranger.
  3. How to breakthrough speed resistance.
  4. How to create your experience with your own mouth.
