Numbers 24:9 (KJV)
“He couched, he lay down as a lion, and as a great lion: who shall stir him up? Blessed is he that blessed thee, and cursed is he that curseth thee.”
Numbers 24:9 gives a vivid word picture of the Lion of the tribe of Judah- He is couched up. The lion of the tribe of Judah dwells on your inside waiting to be stirred up into action. In other words, He can’t do anything except He’s stirred up to action.
To stir up the lion, you must make your boast about the unlimited abilities of the Lion resident on your inside. The more vivid the picture you see of the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the more potent your words will become when you begin to speak. Everything you say with your mouth is a description of what you already have in your heart. So, see the testimonies of what the lion has done in the past, believe them, and begin to speak them boldly.
Whenever the lion is stirred up, none of His adversaries dares to stand against him. Every suspended process that is for your benefit is reversed. He reverses any slow paced process; any payment hat has been held down, is released. When the lion is stirred up, any beneficial thing that eluded your hands is restored, anything that is still being expected will come faster than you would have ever imagined it. When the lion is stirred up, anything that has the sting of death is swallowed up forever (see Isaiah 25:8).
Declare boldly, the lion of the tribe of Judah is my father. I make my boast in Him and I declare that He is the highest in the realm of existence. As the apple of His eyes, He has my best at heart and will go to any length to make sure I succeed in all my endeavours. He never sleeps no slumber; rather He watches over me diligently. When the enemy threatens, He sits in the heavens and He laughs. That is the God I serve.
PRAYER: My Heavenly Father, my confidence in your testimony concerning Jesus is unwavering. The sum total of the wisdom of God resides in me.
